Happy Wednesday, beauties! ICYMI, the Sephora annual Spring Bonus Event is here for all Beauty Insiders, VIB members & VIB ROUGE members! Sephora’s sales come twice a year, so now is the time to stock up on products you use everyday or grab something that’s been on your wishlist for a while.
By no means do I consider myself a beauty blogger, but I do love to share what I love, what has worked for me and my top wishlist items! I am hardly the impulse buyer, so these types of posts are always helpful to read when considering new products. Especially since I know I’ll be shopping the sale – reviews are often the deciding factor. For today’s post I thought to share all I have, love and plan on grabbing during the sale!
First things first – If you aren’t already a Beauty Insider, you can sign up here. The sign up is free, and grants you early access to sales, perks throughout the year and discounts ranging from 15% – 20% off! Here are the details of the Sephora Spring Bonus event:

What I have and love:
CT Pillowtalk blush palette – I use this palette everyday and love the subtle pop of shimmer. I’ve seen this shade on many bloggers in various tutorials and it looks amazing on all skin tones. There’s something about the application (swirl around and pop in the middle) that is fun and adds a bit of excitement to my everyday make up routine.
Buxom lip plumping gloss – I grabbed the color ‘blushing margarita’ a few months back and it has quickly become the tube I reach for. The formula is not sticky, and creates a voluminous lip. I plan on grabbing one, maybe two more shades in the sale – several metallic, shimmer and high-shine finishes to choose from!
Ouai memory mist – I’ve written on my love for this everyday essential here, and it’s become one of my repeater ’empties’. I make sure to never run out of this product, as there’s a definite difference in my hair’s ability to hold a curl without it! I spray it on after drying, and before using any heating tool. Such a good find – reasonably priced, and smells good, too!
BECCA undereye brightening corrector – Dark circles? What dark circles? This brightening cream helps conceal them and is a vital step in my everyday routine. One of my favorite beauty bloggers shared her tips on how to cover dark circles like a pro, (seriously go check it out!) and this miracle formula has made a world of difference in the process.
Detox DryBar dry shampoo is hands down my favorite and I can’t recommend it enough. You’ve read my rave here, tho I’ll share again that I’ve tried MANY and this is one I keep coming back to. Unlike other dry shampoo options, this sulfate free formula doesn’t leave a white powdery residue. It provides an ample amount of volume, and the scent is amazing. Highly recommend this high end brand and all the other products in the line as well. I will note – if you’re still undecided and want to test out to conclude your dry shampoo favorite – Sephora’s Extend Your Style set includes brands I value and offers you a way to sample these favorites on budget.
Tarte in Bloom clay eyeshadow palette – This palette, is the real OG. It’s one of the first I purchased when deciding to expand my everyday look, and re-open my love for eye make up (you can read my comical reason and hesitancy here). The 12 matte and micro shimmer shades offered are all pretty neutral. The shadows are buildable and allow anyone to create day to night looks easily. This and the Tarte Toasted palette are both gorgeous palettes to work with.
Kat Von D Lock it Setting powder – After concealer and tinted moisturizer, I love to set my undereye and overall face with a translucent setting powder. This does a good job of setting my make up and not leaving a white cast. It’s very smooth and provides a balanced matte finish!
Benefit Gimme Brow – Back in high school I went a little overboard with pencil thin brows and have suffered the consequences. Now it seems as if my brow hairs have stopped growing, but Gimme brow stays true to it’s name and never fails! It’s my ride or die tool to achieving full brows effortlessly! This tinted eyebrow gel contains tiny microfibers that adhere to skin & hairs, creating natural-looking fullness and definition. I plan on giving a tutorial soon on how I fill in my brows, so stay tuned! In the mean time – you should give this formula a go – I use shade 4, medium deep.
What I am getting in the sale:
Every time I try a new Charlotte Tilburry product, it becomes an obsession! This event is one of the only times you’ll see CT on sale, so now is the time to grab them if on wishlist! I’ve been wanting to try this setting powder and bronze and glow duo for months! I’ve heard nothing but good things about both of them, so I am excited to try them out!
Ya’ll know I am pretty OCD on cleaning my brushes, and have been wanting to try out this beauty blender cleanser! There’s nothing better than the feeling of clean makeup tools!
I’ve been wanting to try the Drunk Elephant make up cleanser I’ve heard so much about – a clean brand that’s effective and safe. Ya’ll know my thoughts on clean beauty, so I am excited to see the results.
Dyson super sonic hairdryer – okay, I am highly considering this. I know – purchasing a hairdryer this steep is a bit hard to swallow, but I’ve read many reviews, all saying it’s well worth the investment. It holds a motor with ability to dry your hair FAST – meaning little to no damage to your hair and has a ton of temperature style settings included. Plus – if there was a time to lessen the blow (pun intended) with a discount, why not now?
Several other favorites are linked below. You can read more thoughts and reviews here. As always, thank you for stopping by! I hope this helped narrow down your sale favorites!
