What is it about Spring that piques my interest in workwear? Just looking at my post line up, I tend to topic workwear right about this time every year. Must be something about the newness of the season. We’ve all been cooped up inside all Winter; Bringing the office a little color and vibrancy is exciting, am I right?
Yes, several chapters back, the corporate world was a page in my story. Now days, the only colleague seeing my outfit is my golden doodle, but I still love the way office attire and workwear make me feel. I still find enjoyment in the workwear search, especially when retailers, like LOFT, launch new collections that are too good to pass up!
LOFT has started rolling in their Spring workwear and truthfully, it’s the best I’ve seen to date. I am in awe of how well everything cohesively works together. It’s a capsule lovers dream! This past week I took advantage of their sale and grabbed several pieces. Below I’ve pieced together four new Spring workwear inspired looks. And while I love the outfits as is, keep in mind all of these pieces are mixable. Pair the blue shell with the floral midi skirt, or switch out the black pants for blue. Options are endless.
striped boatneck tee: Stripes are one of my favorite Spring prints. Mix them with other prints or wear alone. This tee is heavier in weight, and feels somewhere between a tee and a sweatshirt. Fits true to size, I am wearing a small petite.
floral midi skirt: I love the subtle floral print on this midi. It holds an elasticized waist, so to ensure a proper fit I sized down one size. I am wearing an xxs petite.
relaxed v-neck pocket cardigan: You cannot go wrong with an oversized cardigan, especially when the AC is running at the office. This one has an oversized fit, patch pockets, and side slits. I am wearing an xs.
eyelet flutter sleeve top: This flounce sleeved top gives you a pop of pretty for everyday. I love the delicate details. Fits true to size. I am wearing a small petite.
slim sailor pant: These pants are the perfect example of elevated basics. The buttons are a fun detail, don’t you think? They are slim through the hip, with a slightly tapered leg. Available in curvy, petite, and tall. They’ve a contoured waist band, so I sized down one size to ensure the best fit. I am wearing a 00.
enamel bangle bracelet: This was a last minute add on that I ended up loving! Adding accessories to any look enhances your look next level.
shimmer ruffle shell: This shimmer top is feminine and has the prettiest ruffle hem detail. I love it paired with high waisted pants or tucked into a skirt! Fits true to size, I am wearing a small petite.
sutton skinny pant: If I worked a 9 to 5, I’d have these pants in every color. High waisted, flattering, stretchy and so comfortable. Wear them to work, on weekends, and everything in between! Available in curvy, petite, and tall. They fit true to size, I am wearing a 0.
floral midi dress: Floral prints and midi dresses go hand in hand in my closet. So naturally, this caught my eye. Add a blazer and pumps for work or dress it down with a denim jacket and sneakers on the weekend. Fits true to size, I am wearing an xs petite.
