10 things I am loving right now

Traveler mini dress casual outfit

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a sum up of all my current favorites here on the blog. Almost a year, actually. Oops. I had hoped to devote this type of post on a monthly basis, but alas – capsule building, style sessions, beauty reviews, and all the in betweens took over. I have, however, made my monthly favorites consistent in my style newsletter send outs. If subscribed, you get five of my favorites listed out. What’s on wishlist, any newfound beauty faves, what I am reading, what’s on repeat & more! It’s something fun and different to read, while spotlighting some new found loves.  So, in case this type of post remains inconsistent, you can subscribe to ensure at least five listed faves in your inbox each month.

While you may have read a few of these in May’s send out, I thought to continue the share today knowing my current list undoubtedly exceeds five. So let’s get to it!

one | Abercrombie traveler mini dress: It’s the dress you never knew you needed. It’s so comfortable, versatile and something you can put on when you’re not sure what to wear. Dress it up or down (featured here). It even has a built in bra and pocketed shorts! Available in a ton of colors and styles, too!

I am part of the lululemon Collective and will receive a commission if you make a purchase thru the links below.

two | lululemon half zip scuba hoodie: Seeing and hearing hype over this hoodie, I had to give it a try myself. It does not disappoint. It’s stylish, soft, and so comfortable. I even blasted my car’s AC so I didn’t have to take it off! My love for lululemon has since grown and I’ve ventured into all activity realms. The Wundertrain tight for HIIT training and rides, the Energy Longline bra for medium impact workouts, and the Align reversible bra top my current faves list.

three | Hot Yoga Vinyasa: If you know me well, you know yoga is part of my everyday. Pre-pandemic I regularly attended classes at a local Hot Yoga studio and loved it. Late May I decided to return to the studio and attended a 60 minute Hot Yoga Vinyasa flow. The energy, the sweat, the release is just what my body needed. Since then I’ve made it a priority to attend twice a week – allowing a change in daily workout, body recovery, and mental clarity. I look forward to Wednesday and Sunday mornings most!

four | Ever skincare: Part of my job as a content creator is to consistently test out new products and brands. While I love the experiment, my skin isn’t always receptive. I’ve learned my skin feels and looks it’s best when I’ve a consistent regimen. This past month I’d noticed the kickback and decided to go back to what I know works best. I’ve always loved Everskin and new the resolve to sudden breakouts would be to implement trusted products back into a solid routine. The Reveal peel pads and Youthful serum are two products that work to smooth and re-texturize the surface of my skin and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. I’ve seen a drastic difference already. Tapping into these tried and true products, I am thinking to put an updated am & pm skin care post next on list.

five | Mango dragonfruit refresher: While I love my iced chai lattes, I’ve opted more fruity refreshers these days! It’s refreshing and the perfect low calorie sip on hot days!

six | Reformation Mason pant: This classic pant really has become one I pull for often. It’s comfortable, flattering, and the perfect alternative to denim. Mix the dress with casual and opt for sneakers or flat sandals!

seven | Amazon jean buttons: It’s amazing the things you learn and hacks you discover watching Tiktok and Instagram! I recently discovered the perfect hack to loose waist jeans! These jean buttons are a quick and easy fix to pin and clasp for a tighter fitting jean! Watch more here.

eight | morning devotionals: Truthfully, I haven’t always been one to read my bible. Tho have learned all relationships (this includes ours with God) develop and grow the more time you spend on them. Prioritizing time with Him each morning by way of devotional and prayer has deepened my faith and provides me the right mindset for each day. In my robe, with coffee in hand, I make it a point to have quiet time with our Creator. I read from my favorite Daily devotional – Jesus Calling, pray and often share in stories thereafter a thought, scripture or quote. It’s become my favorite part of every day.

nine | DIME beauty 7 Summers perfume: I’ve used a few DIME beauty products for quite sometime; Their eyelash boost and brow enhance are top notch! I recently added their 7 Summers perfume to cart to give a try and absolutely love it! It has a warm cream scent with a touch of vanilla lavender, pear, coconut and Bergamot. It is made from only clean ingredients and contains Organic Sugar Cane Alcohol in place of commonly used SD 40. If you’d like to give it a try, you can save 20% with sarahstories20.

ten | The Lincoln Lawyer: Now that Ozark is over, Patrick and I needed a new binge worthy show. We landed on The Lincoln Lawyer and have been hooked! It’s suspenseful and I am enjoying the character build. I am thinking all story lines are tied together somehow, but will have to watch thru end to find out!
