Style Guide of the Week

Hi friends! Welcome to my new weekly style guide series! Technically, it’s not new; I’ve been curating daily outfits for several months now. But instead of a month’s worth of outfits, I thought to break down our weeks and spotlight the looks more in-depth. This will also allow me a little more leverage to curate the looks more appropriately. I can experiment with trends, style new pieces I may have added to my closet, or even theme these weekly style guides so you’ve fresh new ideas for any upcoming trips or events.

Our first week for June is really a compilation of outfits I’ve stored in my idea bank. While I’ve loved wearing and sharing my Spring capsule, I’ve since then added a few newer pieces to my closet that I’m itching to wear. I’ve new silk canvas pants, ankle boots, and a gorgeous new belt bag to name a few.

It’s no secret my style embodies everyday casual. So pairing comfort with chic is the vibe this week. I chose classic pieces you’ve likely in your closet already so it should be easy to recreate them. I know workwear-inspired looks are favored here, so Monday’s slot will still source workwear and dressier fits. That said, Monday is Memorial Day, and knowing the majority of you are off for the holiday, office attire will resume next week. Be sure to check back every week for fresh new looks and style inspo.

Monday

A white dress is essential in closet, especially this time of year. It’s lightweight, versatile and flattering. I love this one paired with a linen striped sweater. You can drape the sweater over your shoulders, layer it over the dress, or simply stow it in your tote when temps cool. Complete your dressy casual holiday fit with a hat and gold accent sandals.

Tuesday

This look, in my mind, is the perfect transitional everyday look. You’ve a little warmth up top with the sweater and you’re ready for the sun below! Run your errands handsfree with a stylish belt bag.

Wednesday

A blazer makes any fit chic, am I right? Every girl needs at least one in closet. If not for casual business meetings, it’s a great option to pull whenever one needs a boost of confidence. I paired this ruched sleeve blazer with my favorite straight jeans, a fun printed tank and stylish black mules. Swap out the mules for heeled sandals if heading to happy hour!

Thursday

I was, in fact, influenced! I saw these silk pants on a fellow creator and immediately added them to my cart. I know they will serve as the pant of the Summer. They’re comfortable, stylish, and a great alternative when you don’t want to wear jeans. I just love the monochrome fit with the stylish trench. It’s the perfect look for heading to coffee or a casual lunch date.

Friday

I’ve always loved the casual vibe of a graphic tee. Paired with high waisted wide leg jeans and the most gorgeous (and extremely comfortable) ankle boots – its a combo I’ll forever repeat.

Saturday

Casual is themed steady throughout the week, but it really comes into play on the weekends. These joggers are an easy and comfortable pull to run errands in, go to the park, stay warm in the hockey rink or assist however you spend your Saturdays. Layer an oversized striped button up and you’re set!

Sunday

This look is great for lounging around, going on a walk, or making that weekend Target run! If you know me, you know I am obsessed with Abercrombie’s YPB collection. I combined two of my favorites in a neutral ‘oat’ color, layered a lightweight sweater and completed the fit with my favorite On Cloud sneakers.
