I think Fall is on its way, friends. Yes, it’s still hot here in NC, but there were a few days last week that whispered Fall. Temps were cooler than they have been, a slight breeze came through, and the hues of next season are becoming more and more noticeable on my evening walks. Soon I’ll be crunching leaves under my feet, and opting for a coat! This week I am sharing 7 transitional outfits to wear. With Fall on route, we can gradually bring next season’s style into rotation and make this a seamless transition.

I love to incorporate forecasted trends when transitioning from one season to the next. Utility pants have definitely entered the chat for Fall and I am all for it. Pair them with a sleeveless knit cardigan and strap sandals for a dressed-up casual look.

Who says you cannot wear white after Labor Day? Rules Shmules. There aren’t any in my book. A white linen blazer is the perfect pull when in between seasons. Layer over a tee bodysuit and woven sling-backs for a lunch or coffee date with friends.

Nothing brings in Fall better than a classic trench coat. Every year I am more drawn to pair this coat with casual looks over dressy. Plus, the combination of olive and brown tones always wins, don’t you think?
