Spring Trunk Club review

Spring Trunk Club review
Raise of hands of those who enjoy subscription boxes?! How about fashion subscription boxes?! Trunk Club is one of my most favorite boxes to receive – Not only is it associated with Nordstrom (one of my favorite retailers), but their focus is to provide you with new pieces based on what you are currently shopping for.  You work with a stylist, sharing with them what you love, need, and are looking to add to your wardrobe. If you are headed on vacation, you can let her know to throw in a few vacation essentials. If you are shopping for Spring, or want to refreshen your closet basics, she makes sure to include them. Once your stylist puts together your trunk, she sends over a chance to review its contents. You can choose to keep, exchange or decline sending each item. I love this option, as there have been a few instances where the chosen item is not my style, color choice, or I own something similar. You can also view styling suggestions — envisioning before the buy is my jam! Once approved, your trunk arrives and you have 5 days to try everything on.  You keep what you love and send back what you don’t! You also can schedule a trunk to arrive as often as you’d like! I’ll note that most subscription boxes have styling fees – this one is waived if you are a Nordstrom cardholder!

This time around I requested a refresh on Spring basics. My stylist chose classic pieces that are versatile and perfect for the season. You can watch the full review and styling session in my Instagram highlight! All of the pieces are styled below with links and sizing details below the photos!

Spring Trunk Club reviewpeasant top | denim | necklace | sandal

I love that my stylist included a lightweight top for Spring in my trunk. This peasant top is so comfortable and can be worn over skinny jeans, shorts, or even a wide leg pant. I love it’s versatility. Fits TTS, wearing an XS.

I was sent a size 24 in this denim, tho I feel one size up would be more comfortable. Despite the mis-fit, I do love the wash of this jean and the minimal distressed hem.

To accessorize, my stylist sent a gorgeous Uncommon James Nashville necklace. I love the length in this layering piece. It’s also avail in silver.

I’ve tried on these slide sandals last season, but now am convinced more than ever to keep them! I love the braided detail and two toned leather. Perfect for Spring and into Summer. Fit TTS.

Spring Trunk Club reviewtee | denim | necklace | sandal

A basic white tee is essential in your closet. I love this one, as it’s soft and the perfect length for a front tuck. I’ve always loved Paige Premium denim. These slim fit jeans are so flattering and I love the minimal amount of distressing. Fit TTS, wearing 25.

Spring Trunk Club reviewshirtdress | sneaker

If you do not own a chambray dress, this is the perfect option for Spring. It buttons all the way down, allowing for more versatility. And who doesn’t love a classic Chuck Taylor sneaker? The cutest casual look, don’t you think? Both fit TTS.

Spring Trunk Club reviewdress | sandals

This Madewell smocked waist minidress is darling, don’t you think? I think it can easily be categorized as a year round essential. Pair it now with sandals or wear into the fall with boots and a denim jacket. Fits TTS, wearing an XS.

Spring Trunk Club reviewcami | skirt | sandals

I’ve had my eye on this skirt and was so pleased to see it included in my trunk. Wear now with a classic cami and sandals and take it right into fall with boots and a long sleeve sweater. It’s fully lined and fits TTS. Definitely a keeper.

I love being a source of your fashion inspiration, and thought to share one I personally use if in need of a wardrobe refresh or new seasonal style. I hope this was helpful and if interested, you can schedule your own trunk here! I’d love to see what items make their way into your closet this season!
