Even tho it’s a tad bit chilly still when I step outside, I feel a bit of Spring in the air, don’t you? Either that, or I am getting that itch for Spring weather. Dresses, cropped pants, mules and open toed sandals are on the horizon. I’ve chatted versatility before and the importance of choosing classic pieces for your wardrobe, ones that are timeless and can be worn from one season to the next. With Spring transition on deck, I thought to share the most versatile piece of clothing I own and five different ways one can wear it. This Leith dress is offered as shown and in a long sleeved version. With over 16 colors available, one can imagine the vast ways of wear. There are endless styling possibilities for Spring alone, but for the purpose of this post, I’ll take you thru each individual season and prove it’s rightful closet spot. Let’s get to it!
Spring: As stated, there are several ways to style this staple for Spring. Here I just added an olive button up and some sneakers for a casual look. Perfect for running errands or attending Spring baseball games!

Summer: Aside from wearing this piece as is, you can layer and accessorize. Here I popped on a denim jacket (if needed after dusk), added a cute straw circle bag and completed my look with espadrille wedges.

Need a semi casual dress for those Summer weddings? Pop on a colorful scarf or shawl, strappy heels and you are set!
Fall: This long sleeve waterfall cardigan and knee high boots provides warmth as the season’s change. This style can easily be worn in the Spring – or any transitional season that calls for layering.

Winter – Here I layered with a poncho sweater and covered my legs with OTK boots. An optional way for wear would be to add tights and a bootie. Really, it’s all about layering for comfort in the colder months. As Spring arrives, you could switch out the OTK boots for a cute ankle bootie, or pair the look with some stylish leopard mules.
There you have it! This dress clearly holds versatility, proving a closet staple. How will you wear this cute little number? Looking for other ways to transition thru the seasons? Be sure to check out a few of my transitional wear posts here and here. As always, thanks for stopping by!
