I cannot, cannot, believe we are at the end of another year. I am normally pretty lengthy on reflection, but this year I’ve chosen to condense it a little and combine it with an outfit tribute – a sort of style recap for the books.
Oh 2022. Sitting here, as I pull off layers and reflect, disappointment tries to creep in, knowing I’ve a lot of the same feelings I held at the end of 2021. I’d thought I’d more growth, brand deals, and partnerships writing this up, but that’s okay. I’ve learned a lot about myself this year – my work ethic, my resilience, and my stages of mentality being a content creator. I’ve accepted 2022 more about personal growth, learning limitations, boundaries, and depth of creativity over any desired stage of business.
I still hold hope tho for 2023, which nonetheless, piques a smile and accounts for my resilience. Despite the year’s stagnancy, I have done quite a bit in 2022 at TSS. A quick count renders 57 written posts, 8 capsule wardrobes, 91 web stories, 170+ reels and countless outfits. It’s quite an accomplishment and one I am proud to document. All of this doing has brought my style, closet, confidence and creativity to new levels and I cannot wait to see where next year takes us.
Today’s post shares my top 22 favorite outfits of 2022. Let me tell you, this list was extremely hard to narrow down. Every single outfit I share is loved and a true reflection of my personal style. I’ve always vowed to share just that. Anything less simply doesn’t make the cut. So while this narrow down was difficult, it feels good seeing the volume of style I’ve shared here this year.
You’ll notice a lot of repeated pieces in the curate below. Having defined this space more capsule focused, the repeat and rewear is understood. Similar to 2021, these fits are an example of my continued effort to shop sustainable and versatile. My closet, and style continues to reap the benefits. I have never felt so good in the clothes that I am currently wearing and believe we’ve all the ability not only to attain the closet of our dreams, but to originate style on our terms. Cheers to 2022 and all the fashion it’s held.
The majority of these looks are surprisingly still in stock. If not, I’ve made sure to link similar options for you to recreate them on your own.
