Random Things I am Loving The Sarah Stories

Hey there, it’s time for another edition of “10 Random Things I Am Loving” for Spring 2024! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? But you know what they say – absence makes the heart grow fonder, and I’ve missed sharing my favorite random things with you all. So, let’s dive into what’s been making me smile lately!

10 random things I am loving for Spring 2024

one | Leopard jeans: As someone who’s always had a soft spot for leopard print and loves experimenting with trends, whether they’re new or recycled, these jeans immediately caught my eye. After seeing them styled on TikTok, I wasted no time adding them to my cart. They’re fun and different. And while I realize they aren’t for everyone, they fit my style perfectly, adding a playful edge to any outfit.

two | Gua Shua and Dry Brushing: My mornings have taken on a new level of indulgence with the addition of gua sha and dry brushing. I particularly enjoy using this gua sha tool and this dry brushing brush. Not only do they leave my skin feeling silky smooth, but they also provide a soothing ritual that helps me start the day refreshed and rejuvenated.

three | Kelfie Concealer: As someone who’s tried a lot of concealers in my day, I’ve become increasingly focused on finding ones that work well for mature skin. Not only is this concealer clean, but it also caters to the needs of aging skin. With natural creasing under the eyes, finding the right concealer can be a challenge. However, I’ve found that Kelfie is way less likely to crease and much gentler compared to others I’ve tried. Its hydrating formula remains creamy on the skin, providing both coverage and comfort. I use the shade ‘Coco Crush’.

four | Neighborhood Walks: This marks the fourth time I’ve included neighborhood walks in my list of random favorites, and for good reason. Not only are they a consistent source of joy, but they’ve also become somewhat systematic in my routine. What’s new this time around is that instead of just one dog, we now have two – we welcomed Roscoe into our family back in November, and he’s embraced our walks with the same enthusiasm as Rebel and I. As mentioned before, I struggle a lot with anxiety. When stress begins to overwhelm me, stepping outside for a walk becomes my refuge. It’s in these moments of tranquility that I find peace and reset for the rest of the day.

five | Metallic Loafers: These metallic loafers have become a staple in my Spring wardrobe rotation. I realize they aren’t for everyone, but for me, metallics are a trend I’m fully on board with. They add a touch of glamour and sophistication to every outfit, elevating even the most casual looks. Whether I’m running errands or heading out for the night, these loafers add a little something extra that sets my style apart.

six | TTPD Album by Taylor Swift: Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” has been on repeat for me lately. This album is very lyric heavy, but that’s one of the reasons I love it. Swift has a way of expressing feelings I wouldn’t ever be able to put into words. It’s relatable, intricate, and downright poetic. I realize that Taylor Swift is a polarizing figure – you’re either a die-hard Swiftie or indifferent. However, regardless of how you feel about her personally, you cannot deny that she’s an incredible songwriter, performer, and artist. Each track is a masterpiece in storytelling, and the album as a whole is a journey through love, loss, and self-discovery. It’s the perfect soundtrack for quiet evenings at home or long drives with the windows down.

seven | Anine Bing Oversized Blazer: An oversized blazer is a must-have in any wardrobe, and this one from Anine Bing is no exception. Its relaxed fit and classic design make it a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Whether paired with jeans and a tee or layered over a slip dress, it adds an effortless cool factor to any look. It’s an investment piece that I carefully considered the Quinn blazer for months before deciding on it, and I’m glad I did because it’s become a staple in my Spring wardrobe rotation.

eight | Nutrafol: Taking care of my hair has always been a priority for me, and Nutrafol has become an essential part of my hair care routine, especially after experiencing hair loss as a possible side effect of having COVID in January. I’d been losing handfuls in the shower, and when I shared my concern with my stylist, she suggested I try Nutrafol. I’ve been on it for about a month now, and I’m already noticing a decline in the amount of hair I’m losing in the shower. Not only that, but I’ve also noticed my hair is shinier and overall healthier-looking since I started using it. Its blend of natural ingredients works from the inside out to support healthy hair growth, and it’s reassuring to see tangible results so quickly. Plus, it’s backed by science, so I know I can trust it to deliver long-term benefits.

nine | Iced Almond Milk Cinnamon Dolce Lattes: I’ve always been one to prefer hot drinks over iced, but I’ve done a complete 180 and almost always prefer the opposite these days. One of my newfound favorites is the Iced Almond Milk Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks. This delightful concoction normally comes with whipped cream, but I’ve discovered a game-changing substitution: chocolate cold foam. It transforms the drink into something reminiscent of an iced Mexican hot chocolate – so good! The only drawback is that with all my substitutions, this indulgent treat can come in at a hefty $8, but to me, it’s worth every penny!

ten | Our New Puppy Roscoe: He’s not really a puppy anymore, but he’s still our little guy at only 16 pounds. Roscoe, a Havanese breed, brings me so much joy throughout my day. He’s formed a special bond with our other dog, Rebel – they’re inseparable and best friends. Honestly, I think he loves Rebel more than any of us! With his adorable underbite and fluffy coat, Roscoe is a ball of fur, and his vocal antics never fail to make me laugh. Both of them keep me company during my days working remotely, and I couldn’t be more grateful for having them around.

And there you have it – my list of 10 random things I am loving for Spring 2024! From leopard jeans to Nutrafol, each item brings its own unique joy to my life. What random things are you loving this season?
