From Casual to Cocktail | 4 Holiday party looks

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to attend a cocktail Holiday party. It was, by far, the fanciest party I’ve ever attended in my life. Held at a the home of a fortune 500 company CEO, I was in awe the entire evening. Valet parking, coat check, name tags, professional photographer to greet you and take your photo, to then be served a Prosecco cocktail – all within the first 3 minutes upon arrival. A full catered dinner in a home dressed to the nines in Holiday decor. It was a night to remember, and an honor to attend.

Still star struck, I woke up Saturday morning beyond grateful. I try to live my days in gratitude, but this feeling felt is next level. This family is beyond humble, an admirable attribute lacking in today’s society. Tho, I could only imagine living their lifestyle. The prestige, power, and if being honest, their capital is hard to fathom. I woke up Saturday reflecting on perspective. They have everything, but so do I. A home, tho smaller in capacity – keeps us warm and sheltered. A kitchen – laminated over marble countertops, equally creates meals and memories forever founded on tradition. I could list more on comparison, but feel any further justification isn’t necessary. We walked away with thoughtful gifts, a bottle of champagne and a box of liquored chocolates.  As grand and magical as the night was, I feel the experience rendered a gift beyond entertainment. Gratitude, acceptance, and humility.

Whether you’re attending a party of such grand caliber or casually sipping egg nog in a glass moose mug, I thought to share 4 looks I put together this holiday season!

This look I love, as it takes a seasonal favorited print and kicks it up a notch. Here I tucked a plaid top into a pair of high waisted paper bag pants. Complete your look with kitten heels and you’re set to host or attend casually in style.

Holiday concerts on schedule? Plans to attend a performance of the Nutcracker ballet? This look comes to my mind. I love the classic look of this fitted flared skirt and mixed media sweater. The boots – an added extra.

A tulle maxi skirt, in my opinion, is a solid year round go-to. It’s versatile, and can be dressed up or down depending on occasion and setting. Here I front tucked a bobble stitch sweater and completed the look with kitten heels.

I received so many compliments on this embroidered lace dress. Available in 5 colors, the lace detail and slim silhouette makes this dress a perfect piece for any formal occasion. Add heels and sparkly clutch for a party ready look in no time.

There you have it! You’ve looks set from casual to cocktail! I hope you enjoy all of your celebrations this season in style! As always, thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
