This month, surprise, surprise…I gravitated again towards shoes. With Fall right around the corner, there’s been a shift in interest from sandals to sneakers! You would have thought I had my fix with the #nsale purchases primarily being shoe focused, but my closet is still open for the newest close toed trends! Several mules and sneakers in my #nsale cart quickly sold out, leaving this Momma high and dry. So I dove into the Prime Wardrobe offerings and am satisfied with what I found. I added in a few jeans I’ve had my eye on as well. The hard part now is choosing my favorite(s).
Fergie Preston Mule: This darling studded shoe is stunning. I saw these featured on Instagram and had to try them out for myself. They fit TTS in length, but wide due to the design of the arch. If you have a narrow foot, these may be a looser fit, and I’d advise to size down. Overall, super comfortable and the style is unique!
Steve Madden Wedgie Sneaker: I love these! Offered in black and grey suede, with the cutest zipper detail. You wouldn’t notice these as a wedge from just looking at them. Fit TTS, and would be so cute to pair with joggers or a skinny jean for a dressy casual look.
Steve Madden Ecentrcq Fashion Sneaker: I’ve seen many dupes of these quilted sneakers, but had to try on the real deal for kicks! With little difference in price, I am so happy I did! These are THE cutest sneakers I’ve seen in a while. Love the quilted threading. These fit snug without socks, so I plan on exchanging this favorite for a half size up. Offered in 6 different colors, with the grey option now in closet.
Dolce Vita Elvah Mule: These were chosen to replace the desire for the studded snakeskin mule I missed out on in the #nsale. There are also similar ones here, and dupes I’ve found here. Tho not entirely the same style, I fell in love none the less. Such a cute transitional shoe to wear into Fall. Can be worn with shorts, a skinny cuffed jean, skirt..you name it. And as seen on IG stories, they complete the look perfectly with the black skinny pant included in this shipment. Tho a bit pricier than hoped, these fit TTS, making my decision that much harder!
Hudson Barbara HighRise Super Skinny 5 pocket Black Jean: These jeans are legit. Being that they are designer, these are of highest quality. Fit in all the right places, very flattering, and TTS. I have had my eye on these for a while, but with the steep price, haven’t wanted to purchase without a try on. My expensive taste does not benefit me in the slightest. Coming in at $179 a pair, I may have to rethink my budget. But in all fairness, I’d get so much wear out of them, and my search for the perfect black skinny pant would finally end! Definitely a pant to consider and brand to shop.
Levi’s 521 Skinny Jean: I’ve seen several bloggers snatch these up and had to try them out for myself. Very comfortable, love the wash and the distressing sits perfectly on knee. I worry tho, they’ll give way to stretch and loosen with wear. I’d advise sizing down if considering these for that reason. Offered in over 30, yes.. thirty washes! These affordable jeans will make way to my closet, asap!
